ABOUT THE EPIC MONKEYS

Mofo Deluxe may capture your attention for the usual gangster associations with the word 'MOFO' - but this is not what we are about…

Our unique little brand comprises of the epic three wise monkeys and these furry guys are thought to be one of the most widely recognised pictorial maxims in history!

We intend to incorporate this centuries' old proverb into our every move - to stay true on our quest to source the earths greatest cocoas, create opportunities for talented young people and to taste no evil!

Sweet.

OUR DARK COCOA IS:

From Ghana & the deep 22-24% cocoa butter flavour is enhanced by the choicest belgium chocolate flakes.
Blended with 100% certified fair trade organic cane sugar.
Contains no gluten or dairy ingredients - Vegan Friendly*
Filler Free. This means no nasty numbers, starch, milk powder, colours, preservatives or thickeners.
* but may still contain traces of milk and gluten

ESPRESSO MACHINE INSTRUCTIONS

Makes approximately two 8oz cups.

1. Pour 300ml of cold milk into a jug. Add
two rounded tablespoons of Mofo Deluxe.
2. Steam the mixture to 70°C - this blends the cocoa
and thickens it up.
3. Garnish with Mofo 'Shake' Premium Dark Chocolate.

CAFE BARISTAS! Dont pre-mix Mofo with
water into a paste (it's not nearly as good!).
Steam it with the milk as instructed to
achieve full Cocoa Enlightenment.

STOVETOP
INSTRUCTIONS

Makes one decadent mug.

1. Warm 300ml milk with two rounded tablespoons of Mofo Deluxe
- Not too hot!
2. Add to a coffee plunger and pump gently, or whisk for a creamy texture.
3. Garnish with Mofo 'Shake' Premium Dark Chocolate.

RECIPE:

DAIRY FREE MOFO

BREAKFAST SHAKE

300ml Soy or other milk of choice
1cup of ice
1 banana
1tbs MOFO Deluxe
1tbs Spirulina
1tsp Coconut Oil
2tbs Almonds or LSA

Blitz together. Serve in an extra cold glass.

Mofo has an ultra dark and glossy finish.

TO TASTE
It has a sinister creeping effect. Rich and mouth coating, fine yet generous. The silky first impression builds into an even depth that lasts and is satisfying well after it has been consumed.

LIKENED TO
The tremors of an earthquake… it seems to know no end.

MOFO'S FABLE

There sat three monkeys contemplating
Upon a sandy beach
Spiritual fulfilment
So close within their reach
While sipping bowls of cocoa
The thoughtful trio tried
To find exactly what it was
That decreed a monkey wise…
Cried monkey one with certainty
"I've got it, yes indeed!
You're wise if you enjoy fine things
Yet don't succumb to greed"
"No no no" said monkey two
"You've surely got it wrong
You're wise if you can hear the earth
And listen to her song"
A thoughtful silence stretched in which,
They sat and slurped and puzzled
Then monkey three spoke up these words,
Wiping chocolate from his muzzle:
"For one to speak no evil
Would be a tricky game
For to speak the truth is crucial
And the two aren't quite the same."
Monkey one had to agree
With what had just been said
Adding his few words softly
Once they'd formed inside his head
"Somewhat like the quest
For the perfect cocoa bean
Wisdom is elusive
You must keep your senses keen.
You do not need your mouth or ears,
You do not need your eyes,
It is the search for wisdom,
That will make a monkey wise."
